Clam Dig

About a month ago we went clam digging at Copalis Beach.  My husband and our son got their limits!  Delicious Razor Clams!

Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt

It's going to take quite some time, but hand piecing and hand quilting is great when traveling.  I have chosen the Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern.  Lots of hexagon paper piecing.  I'll at least make a crib size, but if it goes smoothly I may possibly make a twin size.  I'll Show 'n Tell in about 30 years!

The Beginning

"To blog or not to blog: that is the question."  Oh why not.  I'll give it a whirl and see where it goes.  My first photo is of my favorite place to be: the beach.  This is Copalis Beach (north of Ocean Shores), the Pacific Ocean, Washington State.
